My name is Robert G Graf, but most people call me Bob. I am located in the San Francisco Bay Area where I work on animated feature films. I am also finishing the Master of Science in Visualization Sciences program at Texas A&M University. I've always had a fascination with the visual arts and physical sciences. I enjoy discovering ways to marry traditional art mediums and computers that involve interdisciplinary tracks including studio art, mathematics, physics, and computer science. Professional interest areas include visual effects for feature films and photorealistic rendering with supporting interests in physically-based modeling, ray tracing, videography, photography, drawing, and painting. Cycling, camping, downhill skiing, tubing, and other recreational activities are fun as well.
May 18, 2010 : Enchanted Rock
I got back from a hiking/camping trip at the Enchanted Rock in Texas. The sights were really astonishing. The largest rock is approximately 1,800 feet in elevation. This is not a good place to be during a thunderstorm!
